About Debbie Phillips

• Born in Ft. Worth, Texas
• Accomplished horse trainer, rider and teacher
• 1984 – Top Ten National Cutting Horse Competitor, making the finals at every major NCHA Non Pro event over twenty (20) years
• Professional Cutting Horse Trainer for six (6) years
• Two (2) time Cancer survivor
• Married Bum Phillips in 1990 and turned all of her vivacious energy to the world of the NFL and Bum’s success as an NFL analyst
• Debbie currently lives in Goliad, Texas on the horse and cattle ranch where she and Bum lived for the last twenty (20) years
• She is a Mentor and Mother figure to young girls starting out in the horse world
• She is a tireless philanthropist, currently working on the legacy of the Bum Phillips Charities, which they started together in 2010 and continues to support and help develop Christian Ministries all over Texas
• Bum Phillips Charities is operated on love, kindness and compassion. There is no paid staff. All donations are welcome and will go towards the building of the camp and implementation of the programs
